Over the last two decades, spanning aerospace systems in France to leadership roles at Alexa, Paytronix, and Best Buy Health, I’ve scaled engineering organizations, modernized legacy operations, and challenged the status quo to help companies move faster and build better.

Though I built my career on the front lines of delivery, my daily focus is on technical strategy and organizational alignment. I build engineering cultures that are supportive but demanding: where senior leaders are empowered, junior talent is actively mentored, and turnover stays consistently low. By partnering closely with Product, Design, and executive stakeholders, I translate complex business goals into resilient, scalable platforms that run efficiently and deliver real ROI.

  • Drove engineering and the production launch of the Member Benefits Enrollment portal and the new Lively ecommerce site while maintaining 4 other production systems. Ran each program's lifecycle end to end, from quarterly planning, sprint execution, release management, and post-release quality.
  • Defined and executed the technical strategy to incrementally rebuild Lively's legacy web ecosystem under an aggressive growth mandate, building on the team's existing skills while absorbing an Azure-to-AWS migration. Advanced the architecture for scalability, performance, cost, and reliability: rebuilt the CI/CD pipelines, redesigned the SDLC, and moved the commercial site onto a CMS (Contentful) so non-engineering teams could own content. Cut security, technical, and functional defects to near zero, shortened content-update cycles from weekly to hourly, and freed up 40% more engineering bandwidth.
  • Stood up an on-call process to protect cost, performance, and reliability, backed by custom tooling and dashboards: anomaly alerts to email and MS Teams, and automated cost and performance reports published to email and Confluence.
  • Grew the Digital Experience group from 5 to 20 engineers, structuring it into Front End, Back End, and Quality domains to absorb fast-shifting program priorities. Built a supportive but demanding culture with zero turnover and top scores on the company's annual engagement survey. Hired, coached, and grew engineers and senior ICs, owning org design, performance management, and career development so senior talent was well used and junior talent had room to grow.
  • Served as the engineering voice for the web space with executives, Product Marketing, and Client Services, and at times with clients and prospects, translating business objectives into a technical strategy the teams could execute.
  • Led 2 end-to-end vendor integrations (Contentful, Svix) across engineering, procurement, and security; managed SSO onboarding for 20+ enterprise clients; and partnered with Microsoft to evaluate and roll out GitHub Copilot across Best Buy Health engineering.
  • Owned the development of the org-wide effort to map ownership of every system, component, and tool, feeding automated ingestion pipelines into a graph database (Neo4j) surfaced through Backstage.

Canine Behavior Analytics System

A wearable that reads a dog's day. Custom embedded hardware with precise IMU sensors captures movement continuously, and back-end processing separates active play from rest and other behaviors, turning raw micro-movements into real insight on a dog's health, exercise, and well-being. It also balances calories burned against calories consumed, so owners can keep their dog fit and healthy.

A custom 8×8 LED matrix, driven by an ESP microcontroller, that you design, push, and cycle in real time straight from the browser. The front end is deliberately plain JavaScript and HTML, a technical constraint so the whole thing drops in as a plugin for MagicMirror. It serves no practical purpose whatsoever. It was simply a joy to build from scratch, and even better to watch light up the room with custom holiday animations.
